CIPR County Local Public Services Group and Awards Annual Conference

This was a conference without the usual trimmings; without the municipal opulence of former years and without the gala awards dinner, but the programme was one of the strongest yet, designed to support members and delegates through one of the toughest times ever for public service communicators.
This was a conference for hard times, designed to keep delegate costs as low as possible. The programme was delivered over two full days and included an Awards event and was by far the best value public sector communications event on offer this year.
The conference programme focused on delivering excellent communications with reduced resources and on the major challenges facing public service communicators over the next 12 months. It also encompassed the theme of opportunity, and in so doing offered delegates the chance to make the most of being in the capital by being a part of the countdown to London 2012.
