Challenge
- To take this high caliber company on the road with the objective of providing their national work force with news updates, improved installation techniques, quality control and training standards.
- To combine a great look with great content and a full production service in order to deliver a revitalised message that would take them into the next decade.
Solution
- Of course, an event of this type just had to be styled around Top Gear! So we installed video screens, cool walls, live cameras, old car seats and an engine coffee table……. and of course a star in a reasonably priced car, well cart!
- We set about storey boarding the whole show to run as a full TV production starting with opening credits, right through a program that enabled the management team to cover all messages with the aid of interviews, video vox pops, information films, video animation, props and, of course, live footage of all Area Managers racing it out round a fully branded cart track.
- Different sized venues with limited access and set up times required a modular approach to the stage with not just width but also height affected but it was essential the overall look remained consistent.
- A high volume of filming and video production was undertaken with training videos, interviews and a full race day with HD in-cart camera headcams.
Results
- The whole program was spectacular. A Suppliers’ Exhibition Zone led into a portable Studio, where the audience were treated to a slick and professional performance, packed with relevant and concise information and presented in the most eye catching and exciting way.
- Serious messages about resolving poor customer practice were easily mixed with amazing footage of Managers competing for the fastest race time but at every stage the work force was enthralled and the end result was a resounding success.
