Voice 2009

Challenge

  • This annual event provides a huge networking opportunity for Social Enterprise businesses and ‘not for profit’ organisations throughout the UK.
  • The organisers wanted us to develop ideas from the previous year and expand a dynamic and free flowing exhibition area with the added challenge of integrating a full production conference theatre into the floor space as part of the event.

Solution

  • With over 3000 sq mts of space to work with we were able to divide off the conference space using large drop, sound-proofed curtains, installing raked theatre seating and a full suite of production facilities for the new product launch, awards and busy plenary programme. The key advantage to this design was to enable a free flow of delegates around numerous spacious and colorful exhibition stands leading directly to the conference theatre entrances without the usual myriad of corridors and walkways.
  • The budget allowed for effective mood lighting and decoration throughout the arena space. Small performance stages, dedicated to specialist enterprise performances, were located throughout the area and added to a brilliant atmosphere. Multiple workshop sessions with a variety of AV support had to be well signposted so effective branding and signage completed the overall look and feel of the production.

Results

  • A spectacular result with a colourful and vibrant Exhibitor and Network area complimented by a bespoke conference theatre all themed with relaxing mood lighting. Delegates appreciated the amazing look and atmosphere to this free flowing event which created a great backdrop for networking, meeting new customers and old friends. Exhibitors commented on how much a part of the program they felt with the conference running alongside them and so much going on around to keep the day flowing.
